527s new ad

Brave New PAC has an ad out that has Philip Butler, a former POW along with John McCain, stating that he doesn't believe McCain is "fit to lead" based on his erratic behavior and hot temper. While, unlike the Swift Boat ads, this ad doesn't go near McCain's heroism as a soldier, I still don't like it. At the end of the day, we as democrats still have to look in the mirror and I think McCain's war record should be left alone. I also don't think it's a message that will resonate with voters and thus won't work either. Considering McCain said TODAY that the "fundamentals of the economy are strong," I think there are plenty of other ways to attack McCain without resorting to Republican campaign tactics.
