McCain speech

Jon Stewart: "Yes, the Republicans love their country. They just hate half the people living in it."

The green screen is back!!!!!!

Protesters somehow made it into the hall with a sign that said "McCain votes against vets."

McCain praises Bush... Democrats just won the election!

McCain: 9/11... boogidy boogidy boogidy

McCain: "Cindy's concern for those less blessed than we are." i.e. those with 6 houses or less

His statement about his respect for Obama was about as real as Romney's tan.

That screen behind him really needs to stop changing.

Crowd chants: "Yes we can" - where have I heard that before?

(still waiting to see a black person in the crowd)

Obama raised $10 million after Palin's speech

So far, this is about as generic a speech as I've seen. He's yet to say anything of even remote substance. It's been all one-liners.

Republicans want to reform Washington? The Republicans have RUN Washington for the past 8 years!!!!

Wow, thanks John for winning the war in Iraq!!!!!

"I think of the troops everyday." Except when I voted against veterans 9 times when it actually counted.

Maybe he's saving the best for last, but still, not a single substantive sentence...

There's a pressing question floating around the blogosphere at the moment: "How much make-up is John McCain wearing right now?"

Finally, he mentioned the word healthcare although not in a truthful way... baby steps.

God, this is boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alex: "I'm going to bed. This guy's old"
